More scrapbooking
When I realised I had pix of almost every month of the year (hardly ever happens) for 2007, I thought it would be a good year to scrapbook, especially since 2006 had been quite a sad year for us...
To increase the number of pix on the page without distracting from main pix, I made a little accordian-fold 'mini-album' & cut into the page protector to access the album.
I had a sheet of scrapbooking paper loaded with words referring to occasions for each month and thought that would be a perfect end-page display...
A selection of pages from the boys' Malaysian holiday scrapbooks. We always went back to Malaysia for our annual hols and stayed with my parents, and after my dad passed on, with my mum. It was great, a real home away from home, with yummy home-cooking and just being with my mum... We'd always take a mini-break & drive to Melaka (steeped in history) which was only about an hour or so away; we'd always stay in the same hotel with its scrummy buffet breakfast & fab pool. The pix in the first couple of layouts were taken in Melaka, the rest in Kuala Lumpur, the capital, where my mum lived.
The layout in the second picture - to make a feature of the buffalo, I cut it out of the main picture, matted it on a piece of cardstock and stuck it back down.
Again, to increase the number of pictures despite the limited amount of space, I utilised the good old accordian-fold...
