The Similarities Between the 'Woke' Revolution and Communism
Although I’ve heard of Bill Maher, he’s not someone I usually choose to watch.
But clips of this video of his featured in another video I was watching and, intrigued, I found the original so I could watch it uninterrupted.
The past couple of years or so, I’ve had my suspicions to do with the topic he covers, yet watching it still left me gobsmacked.
As per what’s expected on his show, Maher does inject humour in this very serious topic, but there’s no denying the gravity of the situation the Western world finds itself in.
So many things around us are geared towards the breakdown of the nuclear family and undermining the role of parents in their children’s lives.
Breaking down the family unit leads to broken communities, which are easier to control as people look to the government instead to provide for them.
But this isn’t only about politics, it’s to do with the world of entertainment as well, which I’m sure more people pay attention to than they do politics.
Think about the path that entertainment is firmly on now and the messages that are being churned out.
Most films/TV shows, even those aimed at children, seem to be on the same trajectory – same story, different versions.
How many people actually get their morals and values from TV and films?
So far, I’ve only dipped into but not read the entirety of ‘The Naked Communist’ by W. Cleon Skousen; it lists 45 rules for a communist takeover including:
Rule no. 21 – gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.
Rule no. 23 – control art critics and directors… to promote ugliness, repulsive meaningless art.
Rule no. 26 – promote… degeneracy and promiscuity as normal, natural and healthy.
Keeping that in mind while watching Bill Maher’s video will, I’m sure, leave you shocked.
But, surely, a great way to defend ourselves is to know and recognise the truth of what’s happening around us, so we have a better chance of stopping it before it’s too late.
