The Miracle of Surviving a High-Speed Fireball Crash

I don’t follow Formula 1 racing, neither do the boys, so we were completely unaware of this horrendous crash that happened at the 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix involving the Swiss-French racing driver, Romain Grosjean.

Liam came across it completely by accident while reading something which had nothing to do with racing; mention was made of a racing driver walking away from a fireball crash.

Finding that so unbelievable, he had to look it up. Then insisted Gordon and I watch it too.

Having watched it, I still cannot believe it.

The sight of Grosjean actually walking away after being engulfed in flames is like something out of a film, not real life at all.

It is truly an honest-to-God miracle!

Everyone and their neighbour probably know about this and has seen it, but I wanted to have it on my blog because it is so extraordinary.

Along with documentary footage of the crash, I’ve also included part of an interview in which Grosjean recalls his experience, which lasted less than 30 seconds.
