How Politicians Should React In The Face of Tyranny
“No one grants me freedom for I am a free person.” ~ Christine Anderson
Here is a very rare example of politicians acting on behalf of the people – all democratically elected politicians are placed by the people to act for the people. Yet, how many supposed democratically elected governments are acting on behalf of the people?
These are MEPs – Members of the European Parliament – and they, like many of us, have had enough of the lies being peddled by our governments.
Their spokesman is Romanian MEP Cristian Terheș.
If you don’t wish to watch the whole video, I’ve highlighted some key points.
At 2:15, Christine Anderson, German politician, begins her speech, thanking those who have shown them overwhelming support.
She then goes on to talk about the rollout of the vaccinations, how “we were promised the vaccinations will be a game-changer and it will restore our freedom. Turns out, none of that was true. It does not render you immune, you can still contract the virus and you can still be infectious. The only thing this vaccine did for sure was to spill billions and billions of dollars in the pockets of pharmaceutical companies.”
Despite personally voting against the digital green certificate in April, it was still adopted, and she says this shows that the majority of MEPs who voted for it “support oppression of the people while claiming shamelessly to do it for the people’s own good.
”Whenever a government claims to have the people’s interests at heart, you need to think again. In the entire history of mankind, there has never been a political elite sincerely concerned about the wellbeing of regular people. What makes any of us think that it is different now?”
At 6:20, Francesca Donato speaks. She’s an Italian politician who resigned from the far-right League party over its decision to back the ‘green’ Covid health passes; from the start, she’s opposed the vaccinations and has regularly criticised the restrictions enforced by the Italian government.
She speaks about the fundamental rights of all European citizens, namely “the right to have a job, to be treated equally by institutions without any discrimination and the right to protect the integrity of their bodies, choosing in complete freedom whether to accept or not a… treatment. All citizens must be free to choose what risks they want to run for their own health and what risks they are not ready to face. The mandate for Covid certificates to work is just an extortion of consent to a personal choice about one’s own body and it violates human rights as enshrined in the European Charter and in many EU laws.”
At 9:25, it is the turn of Ivan Sincic, Croatian politician, who is part of the Environment, Public Health & Food Safety Committee; he has said before, “none of the documents about managing Covid crisis went through our committee…”
He plainly states, the digital ‘green’ certificate (DGC) is “illogical, it is non-scientific, and it is useless for solving this crisis… All around Europe, policies have been installed that have stolen people’s normal lives; governments are basically blackmailing the citizens more and more. Croatian government openly admits the DGCs are just additional pressure upon those who do not want to take the vaccine for whatever reason… You cannot have your freedoms unless you get the DGC. Healthy people are being deprived of their freedoms and constitutional rights.”
At 14:10, Cristian Terheș begins with “we were elected by the people… But we should not forget that we are elected here for the people. We should have the best interests of people in mind because that is the reason why they elected us here in the European Parliament.”
He wants to know, when the leaders of the European Parliament decided “to strip [the people] of their fundamental rights”, did they tell them why?
There are various treaties that state, “no medical treatment should be imposed on you unless you decide about it freely and under informed consent”, yet the existence of the DGC is violating that freedom of people to choose if they wish to be vaccinated or not.
At the beginning of the year, there was robust debate in the parliament where MEPs demanded full access to the contracts signed between the vaccine-producing companies and the European Union.
It was made available to them “in a redacted format after the company agreed to open the contract up to scrutiny.”
Clearly unimpressed, Mr Terheș points out, “you are imposing a medical product on European citizens without them knowing what’s in this contract”, and the MEPs didn’t know either.
At 17:35, he holds up the pages of the contract so we’re able to see… except we can’t see as the bulk of it is blacked out. What a joke!
He wants to know where European citizens’ money, which was given to the pharmaceutical companies, has gone.
He then states, very simply, the difference between tyranny and democracy:
“When the government knows everything about you, that’s tyranny. I know how it is to live in tyranny. When you know everything about your government, that’s democracy.”
Mr Terheș closes with, “it is our duty and our call to fight for liberty.”
