Trees in Town
Usually, when I go to town, it’s for specific chores. I head straight for the bank or whatever shop I need to go to, or straight to the cinema. I don’t tend to meander or just ‘be’; maybe it’s because of my aversion to crowds, who knows.
Having said that, I do occasionally take the time to just go for a walk and, more often than not, I end up in the gardens. The gardens in the town centre stretch from one end to the other. Most times, I find myself walking along the part that ends on the pedestrianised area heading towards the beach.
These pictures, however, are in the other direction, the part I don’t walk through often enough. It’s hard to believe there’s continuous traffic close by.
The last 2 pictures are of graffiti in town – the first one heading down to the gardens; the other is part of a restaurant by the beach, first time I’ve noticed it!
