The memorials … How long have I lived here, and I wasn’t aware of the first one, to the Canadian pilot, John Henry Green. But I remember the one for Jon Egging, the Red Arrows pilot … to say it was an act of bravery that he stayed in his plane to direct it away from residential areas seems an understatement.
