Christmas ... Priorities ...
Was going to post some Christmas quotes but … Gordon found out that one of his friends, who’d been on the course with him for the past 12 weeks, died yesterday of an epileptic fit. I didn’t know the young man, nor do I know his family but I feel awful for them. I think that has to be a parent’s worst nightmare, losing a child. It certainly has thrown everything into perspective, for me anyway. All the hoopla surrounding ‘Christmas’ as set down by the commercial powers that be means even less than nothing now …
And it makes me so much more grateful for the blessings that I have – top of the list are my 2 beautiful boys, my lovely friends, and the best support system I could ever wish for … and so many other things too …
Hold your dear ones close, my friends, and if they aren’t physically close to you, hold them close in your hearts.
Have a peaceful Christmas xxx
